Service Description
The Curiosity Club is a live, six-week online discussion and literacy program designed for students who love asking questions, solving problems, and thinking beyond the textbook. Each week we dive into a new topic through stories, articles, videos, and real-world questions that build reading, writing, discussion, and critical thinking. Students will: • Solve a fictional murder mystery using evidence and reasoning • Discover unbelievable true stories from history • Debate real-world questions like Should music be free? and Should AI companies prioritize innovation? • Strengthen reading comprehension, writing, speaking, vocabulary, and analytical thinking No worksheets. No busywork. Just engaging conversations and activities around topics students actually enjoy. Perfect for students entering grades 8-11 who want to stay sharp over the summer while having fun. ⸻ What students will explore 🔎 The Morrison Estate Murder Learn to analyze clues, evaluate evidence, and build logical arguments. 🐻 Hidden Histories Questions like: How did a bear become a decorated World War II soldier? Why did an entire town dance uncontrollably for days? ⚖️ Battle of Ideas Discuss and defend positions on questions like: Should music be free? Should AI companies prioritize innovation?
